Peanut butter breaky balls

A must make! Wanted to make a filling batch of protein balls for the week ahead and came up with these beauties. I felt like peanut butter and we had some oats in the pantry so it turned out to be a little breakfast number. High fibre, healthy fats, high protein. Hope you enjoy.

Peanut butter breaky balls
(makes approx 25 small balls)

2 cups quick oats (can use normal oats – quick oats is all I had)
4 Tbls 100% peanut butter
2 scoops raw protein powder (can use flavoured if you like)
2 tsp maca powder
3 Tbls maple syrup
Water (as needed for consistency)

1. Mix all ingredients in large mixing bowl until well combined.
2. Roll into balls using the palm of your hand. You may need to add extra water to help mould the balls.
3. Pop in the fridge.

Whipped these yummy little balls of goodness up this afternoon – so good and easy to make. Just try not to eat all the mixture whilst rolling into balls !

I stumbled across your recipe last week and thought it sounded delish and super easy. So today was was my first attempt at making any type of protein ball and they have turned out to be a huge hit! Don’t think these will last too long in the fridge once my boys get home from school ?
