Nov 16, 2015 Nuts 4 chocolate Food After making this nutty dark chocolate at home last week, I don’t think I will buy chocolate from the store again (well maybe just not all that often). These little treats tasted so good, and best of all, I can determine how sweet I want it by adding more or less stevia/ honey/ maple syrup or whatever sweetener you like! Ingredients 1/2 cup organic coconut oil 1/2 cup cocoa powder 1 tsp vanilla essence 1/2 tsp stevia powder (can use 2 Tbls honey or maple syrup if you wish) 1/2 cup mixed nuts (note – you can use anything you wish in your chocolate moulds. Orange rind, blueberries, dried fruit and coffee beans are all good ideas.) Method 1. In a saucepan heat coco oil on low heat until melted. 2. Add cocoa, vanilla and stevia/ honey and mix well. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. 3. In a mould or shallow dish with baking paper, spread nuts then pour chocolate over. 4. Set in fridge for at least 1 hour. Enjoy! I have mine as a snack with a cup of tea.
