I have been reading a lot about microdermabrasion lately. From the book, it’s a non-chemical, non-invasive procedure that exfoliates the skin to remove the outermost layer of dry, dead skin cells to reveal younger, healthier-looking skin. Even though it’s been around since the 80’s I have never had a facial using microderm, so I wanted to give it a crack to see the results. I noticed after just one treatment my skin was smoother, softer and more vibrant. I will certainly make this a part of my skin regime from now on, with a treatment once a month.

WhereDouble Bay Clinic
What – Light Diamond Microdermabrasion, exfoliating the upper most layers of the skin, in order to deep clean congested pores. Applied a low percentage Lactic Acid Peel, to further deep cleanse, exfoliate and brighten the skin. Performed a Hydration Infusion of pure hyaluronic acid, to plump and hydrate.
I completed the treatment with an Omnilux Medical Light Therapy. This is great to induce collagen, resulting in plump, firm and luminous skin.

Mel said this is a great rejuvenating treatment to achieve glowing skin over a 4-6 week programme. Give the girls a buzz if you’d like to give it a try. Thank you to all the team at Double Bay Clinic for being so amazing!
