Final touches.

I’ve been asked where I get my hair done and what I get done to it, so thought I’d pop it up on the blog. I’ve been seeing the beautiful Mon in her cute Que Colour salon in Darlinghurst for the past 3 years. They’re all about ‘healthy hair and healthy colour’. I absolutely love the warm energy every time I walk in the door and of corse a happy customer always comes back! The salon is small and intimate and I think that adds to it being such a nice, relaxing place to go every time I need a top up. Mon and her team are constantly taking trips, attending seminars and holding salon meetings to learn and talk about new techniques, develop ideas and stay on trend. Every time I leave the salon I’m up with the latest craze. Love it!

For my colour Mon uses a combination of classic foils and balayage to capture the perfect balance of a natural sun kissed brunette. The foils are placed in a classic formation with extra fine detailing on the hair line. The balayage is applied to seamlessly travel to ends giving a soft pop. I have soft walnut tones with hues of sunny gold, keeping it light and bright but still in the brunette family.

Because my hair cops a lot at work on shoots Mon says she always finishes with a Cellophanes treatment by Sebastion Professional to keep the shine and lushness to my colour. Some of my fave products from the salon are from Christophe robin – the cleansing mask with lemon, Shade Variation Care in baby blond and his regenerating mask using the very rare prickly pear seed oil (I WANT TO EAT THIS EVERY TIME I SMELL IT). Aside from the company the best part to Que Colour is the head massage while my treatment does its thing…… sleepy time!

Love you guys, thanks for being so amazing.
