Choc banana protein bar

If you’re looking for a healthy take on a protein bar/loaf this may be the one! I made this this morning and it turned out delicious. Mourish, filling and crunchy on top! If you don’t have much meat in your diet like me this is one way to get a nice little protein hit on the run. You can pop these in the freezer for later.
Choc banana protein bar
1 cup LSA (linsees, sunflower + almond meal)
2 scoops RAW rice protein powder
1 beaten egg
1 cup almond milk
1/3 cup cocoa + almond spread, or any nut spread
1/2 mashed banana
1/4 cup almonds
1 Tbls cocoa
2 Tbls cinnamon
2 Tbls chia seeds
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 Tbls honey

1. Mix all ingredients in a Vitamix/food processor.
2. Spread into baking tin and bake for 20-25mins 200 degrees.
3. Once cool cut into squares. I had mine with greek yoghurt and shaved coconut flakes!

Hey Rachael, just wondering if you use the natural, vanilla or chocolate protein powder? and also if you think these are kids and male friendly? thanks!

I use the natural flavour although there are some great brands that do flavoured options. Def kid/male friendly. Taking some bars into my husband at work tonight! XX
