Sep 03, 2015 Better together Fitness I have been playing sport since I was 3 and most of that has been individual events like cross country and athletics. I love moving my body, anyway, anyhow. Fitness for me is not so much about completing ‘x’ amount of gym sessions per week – I train based on how I feel and try to listen to my body to give it what it wants. On days I have oodles of energy I like to dance or go for a long outdoor run. When I need a pick-me-up I like to practice yoga or pilates. I want to look back in 30 years time and say I am fitter now then ever before. As I get older I certainly appreciate training with friends more. My motivation levels soar when I’ve got training buddies and I also get a sweet social hit. The latest New Balance collection is about just that. Coming together to go further. Women are strong on their own, but they are stronger when they are together. I love this message and I love the idea of a little healthy competition with the girls!
