Feb 15, 2016 MYER Autumn 16 Beauty, Fashion Myer redefined the traditional catwalk experience of a new season launch last week. To welcome our new Autumn/ Winter 16 collections, Myer hosted 100 guests at an intimate black tie dinner at the Barangaroo Reserve. The evening included two ‘fashion moments’ between guests enjoying dinner which were absolutely spectacular. Models rode bikes, carried guitars and walked through the rain in the latest threads. Thank you to Myer for a beautiful evening I will never forget. Outfit notes Gown – Alex Perry, at Myer Jewels – Swarovski Shoe – Pink Inc Clutch – Olga Berg Styling – Michael Azzollini Hair + makeup – Erin Shaw Hair + makeup notes To compliment the gown I wanted to leave my neck and shoulders open by putting my hair up. We went for a low loose textured bun with a middle part. Erin used a Kevin Murphy dusting powder to prep by hair and give it grit and texture. He then secured the pony with a band and pinned the bun in place with hair flowing in the same direction. Ends were kept loose and wispy. I wanted a fresh and glowing look for makeup with slight definition in the eyes. Erin used the bronzer/highlighter duo from Colour Theory to create contouring on the cheekbones. He used a Giorgio Armani silk foundation and the ‘guilty’ blush also from Colour Theory. We curled, applied mascara and used single lashes to create more definition on the eye. My lip was kept minimal with a simple balm.
